S3 Safety: Incorporates a composite toecap and midsole meeting the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard. The toecap protects toes from falling objects and compression: shock resistance is 200 Joules and resistance to compression of 15000 Newtons. The steel midsole, prevents sharp objects from penetrating through the sole: resistance to nail penetration is 1100 Newtons.

Slip resistance: Footwear marked with SRC has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2004, Ammendment A1 2007 and offers the highest rating for slip resistance. Please note that this does not remove the risk altogether and care should still be taken in slippery environments.
