The new PentaGuard™ with SuperFabric® has over 4200
grams of cut-resistance* as compared to 600 grams
from Kevlar,® and an average of 800G with an HDPE
composite.
Lightweight Breathability
The PentaGuard™ consists of guardplates infused into a
polyester shell, creating an armguard that is about as heavy as
a tee-shirt, without the scratchy feel of Kevlar,® but retains the breathability for a cool feel.
Launderable/Durable
Through current testing, the PentaGuard™ Arm Sleeves are
lasting on average 34.4 weeks compared to 1.5 weeks with
Kevlar® and 4 weeks for HDPE. Even after 30 weeks and
multiple washings the cut-resistance was not compromised.
